Thursday 28th April

Ugh. Such a long and busy day, I haven't even taken any pictures. Nothing interesting happened today, all I did was work. Fun fun.

Wednesday 27th April

On Wednesdays I only have one lesson and so actually finish college at 10:30. However, due to the travel arrangements, I can't leave to get home until 4:00. A perfect opportuinty for me to do work! And one that I obviously don't take advantage of... So once again, I got out the camera and was continually snapping from about 12:30 to 3:00 (when I actually DID go off to do work! Shock!) I think we took about 300 photos in all, which is WAY too many for me to sort through right now, so I will add photos to this post later...

Wednesdays are also the days that I volunteer at my local Brownie unit. Today we were doing Royal Wedding and St Georges themed activities, which I'd forgotten we were and so didn't bring my camera which is a shame. We decorated crowns and cupcakes and ended the night by singing the National Anthem, which only about 3 of the girls knew the words to... although saying that, it doesn't really surprise me! When I was their age, it was just laa laa laa laaaa la la... etc etc...

Tuesday 26th April

So today I had to get up horribly early to go to college. Yes, the Easter holiday is over. However! Thanks to Prince William and soon to be Princess Kate Middleton, I get Friday off and so only have a 3 day week! Wahoo! And, to top things of, next week I also have a 3 day week due to the Monday being May Day, and the Tuesday being, what I have labelled, "Weird Tuesday" at college (Monday morning lessons are being moved to Tuesday morning so I have no lessons that day). 5 day weekend! Although I'm working 3 of those 5 days... But still!

Anyway, on to what I actually got up to today, not the insanity of the shortness of the next two college weeks for me. Tuesday's are one of my 3 half days. I have French and English lit in the morning, then have the afternoon off, so a nice easy start to the new term! We didn't ever do anything that strenuous in the lessons either, just some conversation practice and going over an essay we did last term.

As is becoming tradition for me, I spent my entire afternoon at college in the cafe where, as usual, my friends and I got my camera out and snapped some shots. We then went outside with the aim to take pictures of us jumping and doing crazy stuff like that! We're probably going to try again tomorrow. I'm hoping it'll be sunny so I can get a nice high shutter speed to get rid of any motion blur.

Isn't this the cutest look?

This is such an awesome shot! Shame it wasn't taken by me, but by Jamesson...

Monday 25th April

Well, for starters, I've actually kept this up for a week. Go me!

Anyway, no work today - yay! - so I slept in until 10 - yay! Ben got up at around 7:45 which I thought was nuts but I was told about an hour ago that it was because I was shuffling around too much... Meh, I got the bed to myself anyway. Ben spent a little while on Civilisation IV whilst I edited a few photos and such like. At lunchtime we went over his Nan's for a BBQ. Ben and I went for a walk with his Mum around Reedham before the BBQ and we also went round Hayley's friend, Kerry's.

Back to college tomorrow, so not sure if I'll keep this up as regularly as I probably won't be doing anything very interesting.

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April

On Saturday morning there was a fair at St Lawrences in South Walsham in which our Brownie unit had a stall. We ran what was supposed to be a bottle tombola but ended up being a tombola with bottles and toys as prizes. We also had a "lucky dip" which consisted of a container with loads of Beth's old soft toys in it. It was a pretty good morning and I believe we raised nearly £80 for the unit which is pretty cool! I also got cake out of it from Sarah - yay! I should have taken a picture of the cakes really but I didn't think to. Oh well.

This is Dora being hit by a wet sponge. It was very amusing. Tehe.

I had to leave early as I had work at 11:30 and it was manic! There were so many people, with lots of families attracted by the Easter Egg Trail that they ran. We took over £1400 which for a little tea room is pretty awesome! We alo have these new locally handmade and decorated cup cakes, which, if I remember her name I'll post a link to her website if she has one. They're really cool cakes, even if they are a tad expensive at £1.75 each. They're totally worth it though as they're so good! I was surprised to find out I could actually have them as well - with my nut allergy, cakes are often a no-go.

I went out with the South Walsham and Strumpshaw Brownies' leader's on Saturday night as well to Zaks, a place I'd never eaten before. I had an awesome steak and we all had a good laugh with "Beth the Brownie Doll". I didn't take my camera so I don't have pictures, but Sarah did so if she posts them on Facebook I'll link them or upload them on here too.

Ben also came to the dinner and then came back to mine to stay over.

...

I also had and early start on Sunday, having to be at work for 9.30, and it was, again, manic. There were around 650 admissions I believe which is crazy! I didn't really take many pictures as I didn't get a chance, but I did photograph the cup cake I bought for my lunch, which I didn't have until gone 4pm!

Didn't really do a whole lot else though. Had family over for dinner and Ben stayed over again, but that's all.

Friday 22nd April

I had a fairly early (for me anyway) start this morning. I was up and sorted by 9.30 and didn't have to leave for work until 11. So I spent a little while sitting in the garden with my camera and new lens before doing a little revision.

Couldn't decide which composition I prefered with this shot...

I didn't start work until 12 but I had no lift, so had to walk the 2 miles to Fairhaven Gardens from my house, hence why I had to leave at 11. The people I work with think I'm crazy for walking, but firstly, I had no choice, and secondly, I like walking! It gives me a chance to take my camera out and see what I can get. To be honest, I didn't get many shots. I took my new 55-250mm lens to try and get some bird shots or something but there wasn't any who were happy to sit and pose for me, or at least, they didn't stay still long enough!

Snapped this as I left my house for work.

A typical Norfolk scene.

Thursday 21st April

Today I'd planned to go on a long walk with Ben, but I got called in to work. I left at three though so we still had time to go for a walk. we started by going to Ranworth and I climbed the tower again which was cool. Ben brought my camera with him when he picked me up but it had to card in it so I didn't get any pictures here... Afterwards we came back home, picked up a memory card and went for a walk to the marshes where I took lots of pictures of cows, a few of which I've posted below, but others can be found on my Facebook page. I also got some pictures of some birds. That's about all that happened today.

Wednesday 20th April

Today Mum and I went to Norwich to get me a new lens! I am now the proud owner of a 55-250mm lens, altough I'm also £160 poorer... Oh well, it's awesome!

Anywho, before I got the new lens we walked around Norwich looking for the camera store I was told about and took a few shots of the city and it's many, many churches.

Also went shopping but as I'd already spent a lot of money I didn't buy anything more.

I then visited my Nan briefly when we got home after testing my news lens in the garden. It was getting pretty late though so the lighting wasn't great but I did get one shot of a blue tit in the fir tree in our garden.
